the old has passed away, the new has come!!
If you're wondering what the title of this blog may be referring to then you've come to the right place! Some of you may or may not know that Jack and I have recently come through a really rough time in our marriage. After making some extremely poor decisions on my part and causing a huge rift in our marriage it was decided that we should separate from each other in order for me to get my focus back on track. After almost 9 months of being separated, during which time Jack graduated from UT-Knoxville with his PhD in Nuclear Engineering (way to go!) and took a job in Los Alamos, NM at Los Alamos National Lab, we have finally, by the grace and mercy of God, reconciled and have come back together. We have started our new life together in Santa Fe, NM and are looking forward to starting our marriage afresh and learning how to love, serve, honor and be committed to one another all over again. I praise God for all the friends and family who were there to support, encourage, challenge and pray for us during this time. It was much appreciated and needed and God heard those prayers and moved to bring us back together!! We are excited about the adventure and journey that lies before us. We are going to take advantage of being in this new place to stretch ourselves not only in finding new things/places to do and visit but also stretch ourselves by meeting new people, establishing friendships and hopefully getting plugged into a church where we can serve, grow and be poured into! So this blog will hopefully be something that will help us stay connected to our friends and family spread out all over the world, give you a glimpse into our "new" life together and hopefully get you all to continue to pray for us as we start off on our New [Mexico] Adventures!!
